These terms govern your use of the Oxus mobile application ("Oxus", "the app", "we", "our", "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.

1. What Oxus Is

Oxus is an AI-powered nutritional guidance app that helps you understand how much food to eat to reach your weight loss goals. The app analyzes your meals, provides portion recommendations, tracks your progress, and adjusts your calorie targets over time.

2. Not Medical Advice

Oxus provides AI-generated nutritional guidance for informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting any diet or weight loss program, especially if you have underlying health conditions. We are not responsible for any health outcomes resulting from the use of Oxus.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Oxus. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

4. Your Account

• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• You must provide accurate and truthful information during registration and profile setup.
• You may not share your account or let others use it.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. AI-Generated Content

Oxus uses artificial intelligence to generate meal recommendations, portion sizes, calorie calculations, and nutritional suggestions. This content is generated by third-party AI models and may not always be perfectly accurate. You should use your own judgment and consult a professional when needed.

• AI recommendations are based on the information you provide (photos, messages, health data).
• Your messages, food photos, and voice recordings are processed by third-party AI services to generate responses.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated content.

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit (photos, messages, voice recordings). By using Oxus, you grant us permission to process this content through our AI services solely for the purpose of providing the app's features to you. We do not sell your content or use it for advertising.

7. Subscription and Payment

• Oxus offers a free trial period for new users. During the trial, all features are fully accessible.
• After the trial ends, a paid subscription is required to continue using the app.
• Subscriptions are billed yearly at $120/year ($10/month) through Apple's in-app purchase system.
• Payment is processed entirely by Apple. We do not collect or store your payment information.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policy.

8. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the Profile settings in the app. Deleting your account permanently removes your authentication credentials, all cloud-stored data, and all locally stored data from your device. This action cannot be undone.

9. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use Oxus for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or exploit the app
• Upload harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content
• Interfere with or disrupt the app's services or infrastructure
• Create multiple accounts to abuse trial periods

10. Limitation of Liability

Oxus is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any health outcomes, injuries, or damages resulting from your use of the app or reliance on its recommendations.
• We are not liable for data loss, service interruptions, or errors in AI-generated content.
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding any claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app. Your continued use of Oxus after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
